Welcome to No1 The Orthodontic Specialists
Are you ready to start your treatment journey to a beautiful new smile, or are you still trying to decide if orthodontic treatment is right for you? Read on and we’ll explain what happens when you first step into our clinic at No1.
Starting your treatment
You have two options to start out on your treatment journey:
If you’re considering orthodontic treatment but want a little bit more information before you commit to treatment, we recommend you book a free consultation with one of our No1 treatment coordinators, Liz or Laura.
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by Kerri, our friendly receptionist, who’ll ask you to complete a medical history form. Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment so you have time to fill this out. All of the information we collect will be kept privately on our system and, in compliance with new GDPR regulations, you can opt out of our database should you wish.
During your free consultation, we’ll explain the different types of treatments and appliances we use here at No1 The Orthodontic Specialists, show you some examples of our work, and give you information on our treatment fees.
After your free consultation, if you wish to go ahead with treatment, we’ll book you in to see one of our specialist orthodontists.
If you are ready to proceed with orthodontic treatment, you’ll first need to have a consultation with one of our specialist orthodontists. This will cost £150 and take about 30 minutes.
If you haven’t previously filled out a medical history form, you’ll need to do this prior to your consultation. Once all the paperwork is completed, your specialist orthodontist will carry out an examination of your teeth and jaws, taking photos and radiographs if necessary. At this stage, we’ll formulate your bespoke treatment plan.
We will also show you models of the appliances we use and take you through a presentation which outlines the different stages of treatment, highlighting the need for you and our team to work together to achieve the optimum result from your treatment. We’ll also let you know the cost of your treatment – this cost will be the final amount. We don’t have any hidden costs when it comes to treatment.
Our specialist orthodontist will also provide you with a letter outlining your orthodontic needs, what our recommended treatment is, how much it will cost and how long treatment will take. This is part of our commitment to ensure you have a full understanding of what your treatment at No1 entails.
Once your appliance has been fitted, we’ll ask that you come back every four to six weeks so we can check on the movement of your teeth. Regular monitoring of your teeth will ensure the best result possible.
Once your teeth have reached their desired position and your appliance has been removed, we’ll ensure you get the highest level of post-treatment care.
